"TakePart World" is part of Pivot's TakePart initiative, this series sets out to highlight problems faced by people living in developing nations like Africa, and notes possible solutions. The show's mission is to debunk myths that poor countries cannot improve living conditions. Among the stories told in the half-hour documentaries are medical-aid workers distributing medicine and information to address malnutrition and AIDS in Kenya, and a program that donates fishing boats to women near Lake Victoria to help them become entrepreneurs.
