Superhospital

Superhospital is a documentary series set in the Royal Derby Hospital, which provides healthcare on a massive scale.

Over eight thousand staff treat one million patients a year. It's a place where lives begin and lives are saved every day of the week. This series offers a peek behind the scenes at one of the newest and largest single sited hospitals in the country, telling the stories of those people – from surgeons to security guards, doctors to domestics, who all play a part in helping patients and keeping the hospital running. Through intimate and revealing footage, the series gets under the skin of staff as they share patient's moments of drama, joy and sadness.
