Die Inselärztin

Dr. Filipa Wagner no longer holds anything in Germany. She moves to Mauritius to work as a hotel doctor. Hotel director Kulovits is happy about his new specialist. However, the surgeon has to find out that she is catching up with her vocation in paradise and that she is challenged both professionally and personally. Between carefree flirting with bartender Mike and surfing on the waves of the dream island, Filipa has to intervene when the hotel employee Jimmy suffers a life-threatening injury. The chief doctor of the island clinic, Dr. Daniel Bucher is impressed by Flipa's expertise and assertiveness, but he also feels that she has a secret with her.
