Chain Reaction is a Bob Stewart Game show that has a giant logo appearing on screen with most of the lights out. The gentle chasing lights and jazz theme song plays. The announcer introduces the people as the lights reveal the badly painted set. There are two teams which contain both Panelists and Civilians with the Host positioned in the middle. They have to guess words that have things in common with each other. The bonus round was spun off as GO a few years later. Johnny Gilbert was the Announcer for Chain Reaction and GO, while Bill Cullen was the host for the pilot episode and the first six months. Two weeks of this version has Geoff Edwards filling in for Bill Cullen who appeared as Substitute Host on Password Plus. Immediately after Chain Reaction was canceled, Mark Goodson and Bill Todman acquired Winning Streak from Bob Stewart and revived it as Blockbusters. GO was hosted by Kevin O'Connell. When Chain Reaction itself was revived, Rod Charlebois became the new announcer. Blake Emmons was the host until Geoff Edwards returned again. Since 2006, it has been on and off the air of Game Show Network.
