On April 2, 1986, Le Journal de Montreal in a headline: "A fairy tale of $7,650,267". Lavigueur had won the largest jackpot in the history of Loto-Quebec. The history of Lavigueur has long attracted the interest and passions of journalists, but also the general public. Yet the saga of this legendary family has been shaped by tragedy and immense loss.
