June 4th is cavity prevention day. Many foreigners who visit Japan are surprised by the wide variety of toothbrushes and toothpastes. Also, brushing teeth after lunch even at work or school is unique to Japanese people. There are more dental clinics than convenience stores, and treatment costs are below the world standard.
