Randy Hardison was on the road to country music stardom, writing hit songs for big names such as Lee Ann Womack, Garth Brooks and Darryl Worley. But, as Hardison's star was rising, he was found lying in a pool of blood outside his Nashville apartment on June 1, 2002.
