In April 2021, three Russian mountaineers: Sergei Kondrashkin, 40, Alexander Lutokhin, 48, and Sinev, 59, went to Nepal to conquer the Annapurna peak. On April 18th the main group of climbers descended to the base camp, but the three Russians had not arrived. While the search for the helicopter continued, avalanches descended from the mountain in places where the men might have been.
