Catching up with two sets of house-hunters at different stages of life. In 2019, Alistair and Candice were searching in Swindon's pricey old town. Kirstie Allsopp realised that their budget and expectations didn't quite match, so it was going to be a tough search with some hard-hitting compromises. A year earlier, Thomas and Angelina had sold their family home of 32 years and were downsizing in Bolton, to be closer to their family.
