Thord's abilities are put to the test when a difficult rescue operation of an excavator forces him to use extraordinary solutions. But he is in more trouble when freshman Terje's careless driving ends in disaster. In the north, Jo Roger and Ole Henrik try to save a lorry that has ended up in the ditch, 20 meters from the road.
