"Ekiden" which means "road relay" started in 1917. It is an athletics sports event to celebrate the 50th anniversary for transferring the capital of Japan to Tokyo. Ekiden which is known worldwide as "road relay" was born in Japan. imagine-nation features a manga, depicting the story about a team and their work in an ekiden!
