First of a two-part documentary in which Trusadh visits the busy hub that is Lewis Crofters - an agricultural cooperative that has been serving local crofters for nearly 60 years. The shop is one of the busiest shops in Lewis and Harris, and carries products varying from kitchen essentials to outdoor clothing, and from fencing to all types of feed for the croft. This programme follows the staff both in the shop and on the road. Amongst the regulars in the shop are the students from Macaulay College, a community interest company that helps those with additional social and educational requirements. They visit the shop every week for food for their animals and seed for their polytunnels. Meanwhile, John Murdo Matheson is in the lorry delivering feed to the customers. Plus, there is a special visitor making an appearance in the shop at its busiest time.
