His wife Mira recalls that her husband was threatened by representatives of an anti-abortion organization. At the site where the shooting was allegedly fired, investigators found the killer's rifle and hair. It was also possible to establish the identity of the owner of the site from which the threats were received. All the threads lead to the "Fourth Horseman" religious sect.
