The masterschefs begin this episode with a mystery box challenge where they must create their own sausage from a wide assortment of meats and use it to create a dish for the judges. A winner is chosen and allowed to choose the protein for the rest of the chefs to use in the elimination challenge. The choices for this elimination was Ham, Mushrooms, or Shrimp. Mushrooms were selected by the mystery box winner. The judges then allowed the winner of the mystery box challenge to select four of the contestants who would cook with delicious wild mushrooms, and four who could only cook with canned mushrooms. Winners and losers were chosen by the judges and a contestant was sent home.
