Four proud B&B owners battle to be named best value for money. The competition starts in Grosmont, North Yorkshire and Grosmont House B&B, owned by mother and daughter Selma Khan and Roxy Khan-Williams; they hope their personal touch and attention to detail will win over their competitors. On arrival, the B&Bers are impressed by the high standard of their rooms, although ceiling height is an issue for the tallest guest. That afternoon, a ride on the North York Moors Railway gets things off on the right tracks but rivalries begin to emerge. At breakfast, there's a problem with the pre-orders, but nothing that worries Selma and Roxy come feedback.
