St Helens claimed the Super League title for the fourth consecutive year in 2022 and start the new campaign on the other side of the globe, taking on the Australian champions Penrith Panthers. There are five matches in round one of Super League. Newly-promoted Leigh Leopards begin life back in Super League at home to Salford Red Devils, last year's runners-up Leeds travel to Warrington and Hull KR face Wigan.
