House Hunters Renovation S2016E30 - Gutting a House and Wallet

Now that Lars and Katherine have a young son, they'd like to trade their cramped Los Angeles rental for a more spacious family home. They'd like a three-bedroom house with a big kitchen and backyard but they both know that in the pricey Los Angeles market they'll have to be ready to put in some sweat equity. Once they find the right home, major renovations begin in the kitchen and the bedrooms but a costly wall removal bid stops them in their renovation tracks.
