It's the start of another summer season and Brits are flocking to the UK's holiday parks for some well-earned fun in the sun.
Down on the south coast of Cornwall at Tencreek Holiday Park, a 14-strong family have arrived for their annual Cornish camping blow out. Unfortunately for them, the Great British weather has other ideas and their getaway quickly goes from terrific to torrential when a yellow weather warning brings gale force winds and lashing rain. With their tent leaking like a sieve, will this year's escape be a complete washout, or can Park Manager Rob and his team help turn it around?
Over in Somerset, at Holiday Resort Unity, Head of Entertainment Chunkie Russell is lining up another summer season of music, magic and extravagant stage shows to keep the masses entertained. This year he is sticking his neck out and revamping a traditional highlight of the theatrical calendar - the Great British summer Panto. It's got heroes, villains and even a 20 foot inflatable beanstalk, but that's not all: Chunkie is taking an extra special gamble and has cast Guest Relations Manager Sara in a lead role. The trouble is, she's a complete stage novice! Will the beanstalk and Sara's performance fall flat or will it all go off with a bang?
Back down in Cornwall, and the season is hotting up. Lloyd from the maintenance team has been sent to help a guest find a mystery intruder and the housekeeping team are at breaking point as more and more holiday makers pile into the park.
On change-over days getting vans cleaned and ready in time for the next arrival is always a challenge, but when Head of Housekeeping Pauline and Assistant Carrie eventually get in to clean a van due for an early check in they are met with a mountain of mess and destruction. With limited time to turn around this disaster zone will the park's answer to Kim and Aggie crumble under the pressure or will their no-nonsense approach save the day?
