Presenter Anita Rani has forged a successful career on shows such as Countryfile and Strictly Come Dancing, and it's left her in two minds about whether she wants to have children of her own. In order to experience the reality of twenty-first century parenting she throws herself in at the deep end: taking over full parental responsibility for twin nine-year-old boys Luke and Daniel, while mum Sue enjoys some well-earned rest and relaxation.
Constant domestic drudgery, breaking up arguments, organising garden parties and trying to find ever more inventive ways to keep the boys entertained, leaves Anita exhausted. While she struggles to adjust to life as a parent, Anita can't help falling in love with the boy's energy and lust for life, and despite her initial reservations, she soon finds her maternal instincts awakened.
