In the idyllic town of Werlesiel, the motorized paraglider Willem Leefmann is discovered dead in the dunes. During the investigation, it turns out that numerous villagers had a motive for his murder. The mentally unstable Sabine Eriksen, who is shunned by the community, becomes the focus of the case.
