While Hikaru successfully defeats Akaishi and avenges Kimiko and Tasuke, he is unable to kill him due to the Over Demons system taking a heavy toll on him. To Ikki and his allies' shock, Daiji kills Akaishi to take over his role of protecting Giff. Vice manages to prevent Daiji from forming a pact with Giff, who banishes Vice to the latter's dimension.
