Friendships start to form among the children but one of the Tamworth boys discovers a cultural divide when he develops feelings for a Muslim girl. The children have a lesson about race and terrorism, some of the girls speak about the restrictions their parents place on them, and the Saltley students get a culture shock on their first day at the white Tamworth school. With many areas of Britain effectively segregated, can these children begin to solve a problem that the adult world has failed to fix?
