Sinopse
Investigator Anna Kireeva is successful in her career, but completely unhappy in her personal life. Her marriage of many years breaks down when she finds out that she cannot bear a child. The husband's mother tricks her son into getting a divorce because the family needs an heir. Against the backdrop of a family drama, Anna investigates the causes of a mysterious accident in which only a 7-month-old baby survived. Trying to find out if the girl's parents are alive, Anna does not notice how she herself becomes attached to her.
