Every year, 600 to 800 French farmers end their lives, because they have debts and no longer see a way out. Christian Bergeon was one of them: in 1999 he committed suicide, 45 years of age. His son Edouard made a documentary about the family trauma and followed Sébastien Itard, an equally affected farmer.
